Credit profile guidance

Useful habits for a healthier credit profile

These topics help clients understand day-to-day actions that can support better credit administration. They are educational only and do not guarantee credit approval, score changes or listing removal.

01

Pay on time and keep proof

Late or missed payments can affect a credit profile. Keep payment confirmations, settlement letters and paid-up letters where relevant.

02

Check your credit report regularly

Review personal details, account balances, payment status and enquiries so possible inaccuracies can be raised early.

03

Apply for credit carefully

Multiple applications in a short period may create unnecessary enquiries. Apply only when you understand affordability and the purpose.

04

Keep account records tidy

Store statements, correspondence and bureau responses. Clear records make it easier to explain a matter and prepare responsible next steps.
